Whats included in a boiler service?
VISUAL INSPECTION
Visually inspect the boiler to ensure there are no visible defects and that it complies with safety regulations. Switch on boiler to test basic operation prior to testing.
CHECK & TEST
Check and test main components: burners, injectors, heat exchangers, condensate trap and fan.
ANALYSER
Take readings with flue gas analyser to ensure the gas valve and make sure the boiler is running safely and to manufacturer’s specification.
BOILER CLEAN
Clean out magnetic system filter (if fitted). Clean out the condensate trap. And finally we issue an electronic CP6 servicing certificate.
WATER QUALITY TEST
Water quality testing. A sample taken from heating system which is then tested and logged. Poor quality heating system water is often the cause for boiler breakdowns. Available on request.
EMAIL DOCUMENTATION
We issue an electronic CP6 servicing certificate logging date serviced readings and schedules for next year. We also email reminder and book appointment nearer the time tyour next service is due.
